SGA Express is a program that aids students financially in traveling back to their hometowns during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, and Easter breaks.
The SGA Express Application will be open from October 25th through November 6 and can be found on the Nest. All students are welcome to apply, and special consideration will be given to those with a demonstrable financial need.
Reimbursement details: The reimbursements only cover one-way of your travel for each break (Thanksgiving & Christmas). Financial Need Based students will receive a 100% subsidy for Amtrak, MARC or bus tickets, and Uber/Lyft rides. FNB students are eligible to receive airplane ticket subsidies of up to $200 (one-way). The general student body will receive a 18% subsidy on Amtrak tickets and 50% subsidy on bus tickets on a first-come first-serve basis. Regardless of student status, all MARC train tickets will be 100% subsidized. Note: in order to participate in the SGA Express program, you MUST purchase your tickets beforehand and submit proof of purchase along with its price.
