Non Ministrari Sed Ministrare | I came not to be served, but to serve

A Message from 2025-2026 SGA President
Michael Kish

Cardinals,

Welcome back to our beautiful campus in the heart of Little Rome. In the past four years, we’ve seen a lot of changes. This year, we’re greeted with the brand-new St. Lawrence village, alongside a beautiful renewal of the grounds. I look forward to seeing you all back on campus enjoying the scenery.

Likewise, the Student Government Association is undergoing change. This year, we’ve changed our logo. Thank you to everyone who submitted their proposal; after an intense competition, we’ve selected the logo and motto that we believe best represent our goal as student leaders: to serve our fellow students with a spirit of true charity.

Non Ministrari, Sed Ministrare, or I came not to be served, but to serve, comes to us from Matthew 20:28. In choosing this motto, we hope to exemplify the spirit of service that SGA stands for.
We can’t wait to get started working with everybody to help our campus thrive. Always feel welcome to come say hello when you see us around, and if you need anything, stop by during SGA office hours from 10am-1pm every Friday. There are free sodas.

On behalf of myself, Vice President Catherine Weatherwax, Treasurer Will Schroeder, and Secretary Franny Noory, we’d like to thank you and express our deep gratitude for electing us to these positions. We look forward to serving you all, and hope that you’ll join us in our mission of service to our school, our nation, and our God.

In Christ,
Michael Kish
